PEDIATRIC & ADOLESCENT TESTING

Renewed Vitality offers on-site blood draws for children and adolescents ages 6–17. We also help families explore alcohol and drug testing when there is a specific concern. Our team will discuss the reason for testing and the appropriate options before scheduling.

Ages 6–17 

We collect specimens for many specialty laboratory companies. No referral to Renewed Vitality is required. A parent or legal guardian must be present.

Already have a specialty lab kit? Call us with the name of the lab and the collection instructions so we can confirm that we can collect it.

Testing options may include hair, skin, nail, or blood specimens, depending on the substance, the question being asked, and the laboratory’s requirements. These specimens do not all answer the same question, so we’ll discuss which test is appropriate before collection.

For adolescents, we begin with a conversation about the concern and the young person’s involvement in testing. Consent, privacy, and how results will be shared are addressed before proceeding.
